Ok here is my story after 20 years of loving someone who turned into a vicious druggy who thought I was his maid his helper his ho ho, cook and nurse and nothing more I got out. It was hard to leave, lots of covert stuff. The last time he hurt me was it. It had been going on for a couple years due to his LEGAL drug use( turned into a methedone addict by the VA ) and I had to go. I have been seeing a Physcologist who was treating me for the damage done to my head the last few years. Great Dr by the way. I confided to him that I was maybe thinking of returning to the x and he said give it a chance before you do. I know your shy but go on a dating sight and see whats out there. So I went home and decided to put an ad on craigslist. Local town move in looking for a friend… some one to hang out with…. I even said I was fat and poor to thin the scammers and whores. WELL 20 answers later not one of those guys had anything on thier mind but sex. and whats more 15 were married men! 75%!! And the others were probably too just not honest enough to admit it, or maybe they all lied to avoid any commitment stuff I don’t know but all were looking for the whores from the craigslist killer story I guess no one was looking for a friend and friend in guy talk means either a paid whore or a friends with benefits.( not a concept older women really go for ) So now I have 19 more people blocked on my IM still holding out hope for one but not much and when I go to my DRs appointment today I am going to have to laugh at him cause he’s married so he really dosen’t know this is a joke. Friend to a women usually means looking for the love of my life and lets hang out go out see if you’re it but there is no sex untill I fall for you. Friend to a man means booty call period Paid and unpaid but sex. I know I have had guy friends and guys in my life who called themselves my friends what the hell were THEY thinking? Are men really this shallow cause I have to tell you if this is it I would rather be alone! The good news is I went to the grocery store today and met my neighbor around the corner that asked me if I would like to go out some time I know he isn’t married because I can see his house from mine : ) Probably not a good idea but maybe there is hope for me after all. O WAIT one more thing I have learned women spell ad… ad and men spell ad.. add I think there is a reason for that : ) DD wishful thinking!

VETERAN’S ADMINISTRATION SHAME ON YOU
I get soo mad when I see those Veterans Administration commercials on TV. Please tell the truth VA you like to make drug addicts out of those old vets so they don’t show up everyday complaining because what’s really wrong with them is not being addressed. My friend went in because he was in a car accident in the 80′s and was starting to get aches ( He’s 61 ) and because he wasn’t sleeping. He thought he might be having osteo arthritis pain and he needed something like ambien for sleep. Well he came away with a prescription for Methadone a huge dosage. With in one month he had stopped eating lost 10 pounds and turned into a monster who became physical, never had this laid back guy raised his voice to me and I have known him for 20 years. He is a Vietnam vet that served in the Navy. worked as a welder all his life, raised his kids and in one month became a drug addicted monster. After 6 months and 30 pounds of wieght lose he was 5 11 and 190 when he started, not fat anyway, he was skin and bones and a whole different person. I moved in with him and helped him get off the methadone we told his family and they had been worried sick about him and unsure why he was so unhappy. I believe they blamed me for the change. After a month and 1/2 of going through hell he was clean and I was done and moved back to my house. He told me if I left him he would go back on, he did. When we became a couple again I asked him to please go off of it he now weighed 165 and had aged in appearance 5 years. He agreed to ask the doctor and also to ask for some sleeping meds since he was sleeping 2 hours a day by now. The day we went up and waited for hours to be seen, there was a 70 or 80 year old vet in the waiting room screaming at everyone that he was promised his blood test would be done right away so he could take his medication and he needed it!! It was very disturbing, when my friend came out from the doctor and we went to the car he said the Dr said he shouldn’t go off the Methadone again didn’t need arthritis meds and he would never prescribe ambien because it was addictive. Oh my god that Dr is dangerous and being allowed to play Dr on our vets and turn them into monsters. Now if you need methadone because arthritis meds don’t help you well then that is one thing but if you don’t even offer arthritis meds to someone you have diagnosed with osteo arthritis you are a terrible Dr that just wants to drug up his patients as an easy fix without regard for the real problems or consequences to the patient or the people who love that person. VA you are what those guys got for their service? They got screwed. They are brave people who come to you for help and how many are being turned into Methadone addicts because it’s CHEAP and you pay for part and don’t want to buy something ultimately more expensive? Veteran’s Administration you are horrible people, a horrible hospital and there should be a watchdog made up entirly of veterans to watch what you are doing to their brothers and sisters who cared enough to risk their lives and join a service. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS This Dr also took my friend off his blood pressure meds telling him the methadone would calm that down when his blood pressure was 180/100, when he went in a pa or interm questioned that to my friend and was causght by the Dr outside the exam room and reemed for questioning him. He then came into the room and said maybe you should take half a BP pill 6 months later when we went to have a prcedure workup done in Omaha it was 180/105 and the PA there said to take a whole dose and she would talk to the Dr so he could get his perscription changed, 1 month later we have gotten nothing back from him except he cancelled an office visit my freind had nice work Dr. I hope they stop you before you kill someone with your crappy medical care!!!!!!!!!!!

In my 20′s I had a doctor that would basicaaly prescribe honey or yogart for everything but broken bones. I used to think he was weird and called him the ” Hippie Doctor ” he might have been ahead of his time ( or behind ), since now people use yogart to balance the body’s PH and honey to fight bacteria. Maybe I need to find him again and apologize for doubting him. I also have an old friend that tries to give you coneflower and honey for colds and flu, I politly refuse and say…. give me my Nyquil…, maybe I should try it next time after all she and her husband are in thier 50′s and so it must not kill you and cough meds are 10.00 a bottle hum??? Do you suffer from ANGULAR CHEILITIS
After some dental work I had done I developed this problem with dry mouth and sores. I have never even had a case of chapped lips but the first thing my doctor said was… quit licking your lips… ok done I don’t do that… well, you must here is some steroid cream …a month later I still had it and is was embarrassing and sore! So I went back to the doc and he said just keep using the cream sometimes it takes upwards to a year to get rid of it. WHAT??? Well I started researching and of corse everyone had cured it with some secret ingredient available in most kitchens and for a fee they would tell you. I have figured out the cure for me and because I wouldn’t wish this on anyone I will tell you how I got rid of it for free… in one week!! First make sure you are taking a good multi vitamin WITH IRON and then go to the store and buy natural wild honey and apply all day long if you are home or when you can if your not I made sure I slept in it and yes it is messy but it takes a tiny drop and each side of your mouth. rub the excess on your tonge and if you are like me your cheilitis will clear up very quickly. Be sure to do it at night before bed that is the key I do it once or twice day now to keep that bad stuff away and have pretty lips with no JOKER slashes and my boyfriend says I am a sweet kisser!! Try it what have you got to lose? CHEILITIS?… good ridence!! If you are allergic to honey… I read that tea tree oil works too but I will stick with what works for me .
