O my goodness…On my first day off since going back to work I was doing laundry and I sprung a leak in the washer hose. As I ran into the kitchen after hearing a strange noise, water was running as fast as it could go toward my dining room.I turned off my water, got out every towel in the linen closet out and built a dam and yuk cleaned up the mess. Then I had to go buy a new hose at the lumber yard, not my favorite place to go and got it all back together and did towels! Then I decided to turn off my computer and add a new usb hub I had gotten for it. ( a very expensive one from radio shack ) so I put it on turned my computer on and FRIED my mother board. So after my daughter spent hours trying to get it started in safe mode and retrive files it was no good : ( She thinks that she can turn it into a slave and take off the files I want, all my pics a book I am writing, letters I have sent and made copies of. I am just sick not to mention having to buy a new computer. The upside is this is lightening fast and has a cd burner. I didn’t have one before and don’t know how to use it but I have it incase I ever do : ) Then after all that I went in today to turn on the TV in the office and nothing. They say all it is, is a button but it was all in all not a good time for it to happen, but atleast I didn’t have to buy another TV. So …this has been an interesting week and why I never backed up my files I will never know. Being computer iliterate is a bad thing to be these days so! I really missed this thing I was practically jonesing for a computer fix. Mine at the store wasn’t online, but will be now : )!! Who knew of all the things I could get addicted to in the world it would be this thing : ) Oh well it could be worse. See you tomorrow…Kathryn

Wow … Beacuse I am doing laundry today I get to relax and just look over some of the sites I generally visit but never thouroughly research. Today it’s Worldpress : ) and I discovered the spam comments. I never knew I thought spam was spam was spam but I would like to thank those of you out there that have left encouraging messeges for me. I am embarrassed, ashamed, happy and excited that someone took the time to read my ramblings. I will be returning the favor now that I know world press sees some of those comments as spam for some reason. I truely hope I have not offended anyone except of course my x who deserves every naughty word I write about him : ) seeing how this was his idea anyway . Thanks again… Have a grat weekend…Kathryn
WORK WORK WORK
Having been away from work for a while has shown me how important it is in my life I feel soo much better! But it truely does get in the way of the little pleasures that seem to fall by the way infront of the big things. Like blogging : ) I have this habit every morning of a cup of bad for you coffee and reading the news online usually CNN and FOX. I have read about so many horrible crimes against women and children lately and you know it is the tip of the iceburg! The other day I read about a parent who was using the spray at a carwash to punish her thought to be 4 to 6 year old! Bad enough but when they finally found that monster the child was a 2 1/2 yearold! And the state of Florida where I am from said it wasn’t certain they would be removing the child from it’s mother/ monster!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is wrong with people? If you are willing to do something so horrible to your innocent little daughter in public with a witness standing there you are doing much much worse at home! I am outraged. I owned a daycare for 13 years and I worked with a program where children at risk were placed for daycare while they stayed with parents who have been accused of neglect but found to be fit. I absolutly never understood that concept but I did my part to nurture them and give them security while that were in my care but honestly. If you go out to party and leave your 4 year old home alone, are you fit? I had one adorable little boy who had been starved by his mother and ended up in the hospital but she was fit because she wasn’t eating either not for lack of money but just that’s how they lived. She always questioned to me why she was such a bad mom she didn’t beat her son or scream and holler and he was always always clean. Even in counceling she didn’t appreciate the gravity of her mistakes… amazing and you know not only did she have a wonderful little boy she was a nice women. I always wonder about those kids. I think if you abuse your kids it isn’t just a rage issue or controll you are defective! K I am sorry if I offended any bleeding hearts or child abusers here wait NO I’M NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need to put our kids first, yes it tramatic to remove kids from thier parents but it is more tramatic for them to be beaten starved and killed!. See you tomorrow…Kathryn
